Hi all,

I'm new to this site and have a few questions.  I'm hoping to be a nurse and i applied to Staffordshire University for the September 10 and March 11 to do the Diploma in Nursing, but was refused as they said they had very high volumes of applicants as it was the last chance for people wanting to do the Diploma before it is fazed out! so now i have to go back to college in September to do another access course to get the correct qualifications so that i can re apply in 2011, this time though it will be to do the degree. 

I'm just wondering, if i do get into uni next year and i am based at Shrewsbury - would i be working at Teford and Shrewsbury hospitals only or would i be working at hospitals in Staffs too, also even if you are based at Shrewsbury, do you have to go to staffs uni?

Also for all the trainee nurses, how are you finding it? have you got any helpful tips ?
