completed placement in Orthopedic ward before christmas and now have to do an oral presentaion on it. It was so long ago i can not remember everything now i'm stuck. I am discussing a patients pain management post op having had a total hip replacement.. They were taking Oxynorm and Oxycotin and I think Tramadol,does this sound right? I'm totally confused i'm sure they must have taken an NSAID as well but can't remember. If somone working with this type of patient regularly could give me a rough idea of the typical drug therapy for this situation I would appreciate it, thanks
