Hi,


I'm a Practice Nurse working in a small Practice. I'm the junior nurse (Band 5) and the senior nurse is a Band 6, or so I thought...


I recenty found out that they have never converted from being a SEN - or at least the NMC register doesn't show it.


I'm pretty sure that this is illegal but what should I do? They've been working there for a long time and were promoted from the junior to the senior post I think based on time served and I don't think anyone ever questioned their qualifications. Whenever it has been mentioned, they say that they are a Level 1 nurse.


 


I am really stuck on this.
