This week sees the 100th anniversary of the death of Florence Nightingale, she undoubtly had a major effect on the training of nurses in the late 19th and early 20th century, but is her legacy still influencing early 21st century training?

Yeah, I believe that though Florence Nightingale had been very important figure during 19th and 20th century, still in our generation, Florence Nightingale remains to be influential.  Consider as the pioneer of the nursing world, her ideas and principles in nursing and in life are tackled by medical books and practice by nurses. Directly and indirectly Florence Nightingale gave her legacy to the 21st century nurses and maybe on the future nurses too.
