Posted about 1 year ago Hi there, Ive recently been accepted a job as a hca but been put on the waiting list and been there for 2 months now. There is also a college course i wouldnt mind doing to acsess me to nursing at uni but cant afford not to work! Do you get training on the job as a hca? as this would suit me better or do i give up the chance of getting through the door and struggle with money?? Help meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! |

| Posted about 1 year ago Hi, Emm. Welcome to ProNurse, it's good to have you with us. You will get "on the job" training as an HCA and you could do your access to nursing course as well as working. Good luck and take care. Mo x. Mo. Forum Leader on ProNurse. |
