Long term conditions, heart failure, reducing hospital admissions, prevention, prevention and prevention!

Good luck.

I suppose it depends upon your field of practice.

If you're involved in mental health, substance misuse, sexual and reproductive health, or HIV related care you might find the current debate about Project Prevention a trove of ideas from research to ethics and the interface between health and politics.

For LD (I just noticed what forum this is in) there's an angle that Project Prevention startes (in spite of the research evidence to the contrary) that LD is caused by foetal exposure to pretty much any substance so far as I can see. There's also a huge argument about the right to life with a disability and the morality of eugenic 'sterilisation' on the back of a bribe to drug users to prevent the birth of people with LD.

You'll find the basic arguments and several links here:

At the moment I'm quite interested in Autistic Spectrum Disorders, & there is certainly a great deal of debate on a wide range of relevant issues.  I think that this could be a good focus for the topics Stuart mentioned.. e.g. many people believe that ASDs are caused by vaccinations or exposure to toxins/chemicals..  Particularly active in blogs and sites in the USA, there is also increasing support for the recognition of the "good aspects" of ASDs, such as attention to detail, or ability to think differently..  Temple Grandin would be a good example of someone with classical autism who works as an advocate for this view.

Good luck!

Actually was interesting in finding a topic on chiropractics, I want to know more about this form of medicine, some friends think about going to a chiropractor and try this form of medicine for a change. What do you think?

Alcohol and smoking have always made it to the top of the headlines because of their serious health implications. Here's an interesting resource you can use as a reference, it's a meth rehab resource. You can find of information on current drug habits, this should interest us all.

There are many health related issues such as addiction. Addiction could be of different types; such as alcohol addiction or even worse drug addiction. Drug rehabs are doing their best to treat people back to normal life; one such a rehab is Drug Rehab Florida.
