Posted about 1 year ago I joined this site as I wanted to receive and offer support to nurses (prospective or current). I did not see this site as a place where agencies exploit nurses to recruit and thereby make an income charging recruitment fees to the NHS for minimal work. I tried putting this on my profile. It had made no difference. I DO NOT WISH TO SEND MY CV TO ANY AGENCIES AND AM NOT LOOKING FOR ANOTHER JOB. I will contact the DoH and report any agencies that persist in exploiting in this manner. How much clearer can I make myself??? If others wants to be recruited, good for them. I don't. This is not why I am here. Moderators, is there a way of blocking people who persistently ask for CVs or wish to add recruits as friends? |

| Posted about 1 year ago Hi Toni, I've voted yes but I'd have preferred a third option. I agree with you about people spammin but I also think there's a valid case for businesses posting their services in the appropriate forum. I do that regularly myself and see no problem with it. I do disagree with spam though which seems to me to be a very effective way to kill a site like this. Cheers, Stuart |

| Posted about 1 year ago Hi, Toni. I voted NO because I agree with you that this sort of "posting" is not what ProNurse is about. I do delete all the blatant advertising/spamming as soon as I see it, but some things are a bit boarderline. I continually monitor all the posts submitted in the forums, but if you come across something I have missed please let me know. Thanks. Mo xx. Mo. Forum Leader on ProNurse. |

| Posted about 1 year ago Well "rgn" or "Nurse Registered UK" is either stupid or a spammer but certainly not a nurse looking for support!!!
I have just received this post...
We are Shiv Sans limited based in UK. We are looking for RGN (Registered General Nurse) to work at our employers place. This is an urgent requirement.
Mo, how do I remove this "person" from my friend's list? |
