| Posted about 1 year ago hi there, i was in a similar position to you although i start my course mar22nd, ive spent the last year saving a few hundred a month to top up my bursary, which is £540 a month, and they dont take any partners income into it so that shoulnt affect you however im in wales and studying the degree so it might not be the same if your in england im really not sure but thought id share as it may well be the same, id advise you contact a local career advisor or speak to a financial advisor at the uni of your choice they should be able to confirm what you need to know hun, thats what i done anyways, they were very helpful, also it would also change if you have chidren, hope that helps a little all the best xx |

| Posted about 1 year ago Thank you thats very helpful
yeah im going to save now until feb hopfully to have some put away but im hoping to work parttime or on the bank to top it up! Is the course 5 days a week full time 9-5 then? Is it possibale to work hours around the course? 540 is quite good considering you dont have to pay it back i just worry as obviously bringing home as much as i do now its bit scarey living of half that but hopfully ill manage and its worth it in the long run!
Thank you again tory |
