Im starting at pontypridd (uni of glam) next week, well 22nd and cant wait!! so excited god knows why i know the first few weeks will be form filling in and getting to know uni etc like you say the boring stuff lol hope your enjoying anyways and keep us posted on what your up to in uni im intrigued to know what were gunna be doing, tis soo exciting been waiting a long time for this day to come lol!! all the best hun xx suzie |

| Posted about 1 year ago hey my first wk is ova! they just went thru stuff like health and safety, money matters, unions, how 2 learn in higher ed, and what our hols are, and when we are placements. Nxt wk tho we are startin lectures so i suppose the hard work will have 2 kick in! Gd luck 4 the 22nd, let me kno how it goes! x |

| Posted about 1 year ago hey hun, cheers, im quite lucky because i start on the 22nd and then have easter hols from the 29th!!! dont know why were starting so late i guess when i go back after the hols well be into the nitty gritty stuff lol, glad your enjoying so far what hours are you in uni and is it 5 days a week? sorry to be nosey just trying to get a rough idea the unis dont tell you much until you start, do you know anyone in you classes and are you from swansea anyways?? have a good weekend! or have you got homework already lol? |

| Posted about 1 year ago hey! Well i've worked all weekend so cnt say ive enjoyed that! lol. My lectures start monday and some days im 9-5 and others only in till 12, but ive only got my planner 4 nxt wk and they said it can change. Basically they said you are contracted to 9-5 mon-fri so dnt go saying ive gotta go half way thru lectures to pick up your child etc as you were told in the interview that you would be here 9-5!. Havent had any homework yet but think as soon as i start my lectures we will. They said that this isnt a spoon fed course we will have to go onto blackboard to download lectures and see when essays are due etc. I ve made a few freinds on my course! thank god as there are 100 of us, but weve been put into small groups for tutorial time and dnt know anybody on that but im sure ill be fine. Im not from swansea im from tonna? small village off neath, what bout you?. Thats a nice start wk in wk off lol, i havent got a week off till may! Hope this answers a few more of your questions! |

| Posted about 1 year ago Looks like you are settling in well there. I am at Uni Glam just going ito my third year; It flys by so my advice is to knuckle down and do your reading. It will get you everywhere. |
