| Posted about 1 year ago If you only want to ensure she doesn't make the same mistake again, you could try to contact her. Pointing out the problem without complaining officially would be a good way to avoid any future issues and also avoid causing her any issues with her managers. Nurses, and pretty much all HCPs, have the importance of confidentiality beaten into them 3 times a week from the first day of training onwards, so if you speak to her, that may be enough. The key is to decide what you want to achieve, avoiding future issues or actually complain because you are aggrieved. Your call though.

| Posted about 1 year ago Yup I totally agree. Confidentiality is one of the primary responsibility of nurses. You must first talk with her and then afterwards if she doesn't want to talk about it, then you can talk to the proper authority regarding what she had done.
