Posted over 2 years ago Hi im new to the forum tonight - so hi to everyone out there I am working as a Clinical Research Nurse - not real nursing I hear some of you say, but its a lonely life being a research nurse. When you work in a hospital environment you are unaware of all the other aspects of nursing that take place - well I was. I have worked in research now for nearly 4 years, I enjoy it but I do miss the companionship and support from working in the wards etc. I just wanted to open up a discussion and to see if there are any other research buddys out there ? |

| Posted over 2 years ago Hi. I am not a research nurse but I am interested in research and wondering how you went about getting the post of research nurse? Do you have to do postgraduate training? Where exactly do you work on a daily basis? Is there lots of travelling around up and down the country? Sorry for all the questions but I am just interested. |
